Hornets’ P.J. Washington suffers lower left leg contusion in game vs. Pacers

The Charlotte Hornets said rookie forward P.J. Washington suffered a lower left leg contusion in the second half of the November 5 game against the Indiana Pacers.

“His status is day to day moving forward,” the Hornets said on Twitter.

The Hornets won that game 122-120 in overtime, improving their win-loss record to 4-3. The Pacers dropped to 3-4.

Washington scored 16 points and collected 3 boards. The leading scorer for the Hornets was Devonte’ Graham, who set a career high of 35 points.
