Quitinday Hills: a different attraction in Albay, Philippines

Albay in the Philippines is dominated by Mayon Volcano. A visit to that province is incomplete without seeing the perfect cone of the active volcano.

Nevertheless, Mayon Volcano is not the only interesting landform in Albay. Enter Quitinday Hills, which are located in the town of Camalig.

The best thing about Quitinday Hills is that, on a clear day, you can still see Mayon Volcano in the background. It’s seeing two attractions with one visit!

It does involve some hiking to get to the place where you can see that view, so prepare physically. Also, do it in the early morning or late afternoon, when it’s relatively cooler.
